Campaign Finance Info Should Be Digital, Secretary of State Says Mississippi should require candidates to submit campaign finance filings through a searchable, digital system, Secretary of State Michael Watson said.

Mississippians can now report issues they encounter while voting in elections and the Mississippi secretary of state’s office can provide information and updates through a text-messaging service the office developed, TextMyGov.

Are there any academics or nonprofits or something who do their own independent jobs reports? Because there’s no way I’ll be able to believe anything the BLS says after today.

Trump just announced E.J. Antoni, a Project 2025 contributor from the Heritage Foundation, as the new head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Steve Bannon has been pushing for Trump to pick Antoni ever since Trump fired the former BLS commissioner in response to a report showing a slowing economy.
