I think even from a modern perspective the outers do something slightly different. Though, by the argument I presented at NORWAC, I think I’d have to look at more timing woth modern techniques to draw a fair comparison *nerd emoji*

With 3 there’s a number of combos that activate less than half the chart and are free of either combustion or malefics.

with 4 at least half the chart gets activated through the stellium and there’s only 1 combo that’s free of aforementioned shenanigans.

in case anyone was wondering the answer to the stellium question is 4 classical planets

One thing that I think is often overlooked in social-media astrology is differentiating between the natural/universal signification of a planet and the topical/functional significations it carries.

Too much emphasis on the former at the expense of the latter.
