in the second image, continuing from the last, the first panel focuses on an accessory stand while ena and mizuki’s dialogue fills it up. mizuki says “that’s what you were thinking? no one will like you if you say things like that, you know!” ena replies “that’s what i mean! you’re so hard to get along with!” mizuki laughs, then says “sorry about that! so, that’s what you thought, eh? have i managed to convince you that i’m not that bad?” ena avoids eye contact, and a quick heartbeat is drawn within the background, as she says “you get on my nerves sometimes, but…” the next panel focuses on her nervously fidgeting with her sleeve, saying “i get it now that it’s just teasing…” mizuki looks off to the side with slight amusement, saying “yeah? so, what’s the verdict?” and ena ducks her head, looking the opposite side, replying with “what do you want to hear? i don’t really know what to say.” she then looks back to mizuki, a blush on her face, and thinks to herself “i thought only kanade, who recognized my art, saw me for who i really was…” the next panel is a profile view of mizuki’s gentle smile, also with sparkles in the background, as ena’s thoughts continue with “but, maybe, it wasn’t just her…” mizuki then looks back, a very small blush on her face and in surprise, asking “ena?” ena blushes and looks away with frustration, saying “well, um…” before covering her face slightly, saying “since i got to know you a bit better, it’s more fun working together.” the last panel is focused on the floor where they stand, a pink spool of ribbon having fallen between them, while ena ends with “that’s all i’ve got to say.”

the third image is of a scene from the event “what’s on your mind? exciting picnic!” official english localization. the color palette is based off a pastel cloudy day with warm colors. ena is covered in mud with imperfect hair, and distressed as she looks up and asks “wasn’t that your favorite outfit? i feel terrible about it getting ruined like that. i’m so sorry.” mizuki, also muddy with her hair no longer curled, smiles and holds onto her muddy sweater, saying “what, this? i did like it, but i can just buy something else, right?” then, she smiles kindly, saying “more importantly…” ena reacts with wide eyes and a small blush on her face, followed by a panel of mizuki continuing to smile at her, illuminated with soft light coming from behind her and sparkles. she says “you’re safe now, and that’s what matters most.” ena is stunned with wide eyes and a blush, an illustrated burst filling the background behind her with a heart being struck by an arrow, as ena says “mizuki…” the next panel focuses on their muddied hands, ena clenching hers into fists with mizuki holds a hand out with the other holding a handkerchief, asking “and you’re not hurt at all?” ena smiles nervously, a doodle of a heartbeat with a small heart above it as she replies “i’m fine, really…”

the fourth is a scene from the story “what lies behind, what lies ahead”, also official english localization. the colors are a pastel sunset. first panel features a side profile view of ena, somewhat focused in her expression as she says “okay, i understand… i’m the worst when it comes to waiting…” she smiles in the next panel, this time she is the one illuminated from behind and sparkles surround her, and she says “but i’ll make a special exception for you.” mizuki reacts with surprise, tensing her shoulders and blushing. ena holds her hands together in a pleading way, looking concerned in her expression, bathed in soft warm light as she asks “so promise to tell me when you’re ready…” a panel focuses on half of mizuki’s expression, where she blushes, but seems concerned with a drop of sweat on her face, before she smiles sadly in the next panel, within cool light with doodles of rain clouds surrounding her. she says “i will…”
