I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

-New to their position
-Make lower salaries
-Recruited to bring in new talent
-Far LESS likely to be dogmatic

They're being fired because they have fewer protections. Not because this will improve government efficiency or cut costs.

Disabled folks have been sounding the alarm for years about how these people want us dead (and others too) and people thought us alarmist but that's what a lot of this horrible stuff they're implementing is about. Straight up eugenics.

No one is immune from disability. It can happen to anyone at anytime, regardless of how 'young and healthy' you are.

Stop believing you will be the exception, and start engaging in disability justice. It's far easier to fight for better support and treatment while you still have your health.
