I am endlessly grateful for my career and the life it affords me. It means I get to be impactful by donating funds to causes that desperately need them. It means I never have to worry about waking up to the water shut off. But sometimes this shit is rough.

2026 work travel starts today. Every time I think about what a pain in the ass traveling so much is, I also try to think of what the little girl who grew up regularly having utilities shut off would think of what we get to do now.

I took Bast out around 6:40 and it took my breath away! So pleased to have shared it with you. 💙

Well, here we are with Kevin Durant on my television again. The horrors truly never cease.

Just one half day into my whirlwind trip to London and I can tell how people fall in love with it so quickly. People who have been here before: how should I prioritize my next 48 hours?

Today is the day I learned that we do not order our cold shaken espresso drink extra sweet. Oh, boy, do we not. Goodness Christ.

Needing to get off my butt and take a shower but I already started working and I need to eat breakfast and the weight of the world feels like it is sitting directly on my chest and showering just seems like a lot type of morning.

Tonight is possibly my favorite night of the whole year. It is NBA Draft Night, children! I love everything about it. The clothing. Seeing these young men realize their dreams on live TV and hearing their stories. I am a Grade A Sucker for this production.

When you come back from a work trip feeling Not Great and your son pouts because you can't play with him like he wants.

I'm sure we'll unpack this later.

I really need to stop responding with "Thanks! It's a sickness!" when strangers compliment my color coordination in public.
