At the end of the day, I'm white, cis and was brought up in a home that was never especially struggling.
Whilst the conservation sector is competitive and SO hard to break into, I need to be prepared to let go of some opportunities, as others probably will need the boost more.
My perfect job is currently open to people from underrepresented groups. I'm queer and ND but they're not highlighted in the JD.
I SO appreciate why it's being offered to those with bigger barriers to entry, but I need to better sit with my privilege and be ok with maybe not being able to apply.
