2026 Quirino Awards Nominees Recognize Ibero-American Animation Spain leads this year’s nominees as 30 projects from seven countries compete for the Ibero-American animation awards to be presented in Tenerife.

The 2026 Quirino Awards nominees are out: ‘Dog Alone’ and ‘Because Today Is Saturday’ top the list with three nominations each, while ‘Decorado’ and ‘The Quinta’s Ghost’ also score multiple nods. Winners will be announced on April 17 in Tenerife.
