It’s Airdrie up next for the Honest Men. Ayr need to focus on playing their own game, something they didn’t do against Livingston. 3 points is vital to remain in the title hunt. Hopefully Stone gets the nod in goal and we put the whole goalkeeper distraction behind us.

Big wins for Livingston, Hamilton and Airdrie tonight.

• Livi now a point off Falkirk and could go top with a win on Friday.
• Hamilton get out of the relegation playoff spot after a terrible run of form.
• Airdrie close the gap to Dunfermline to 7 with a game in hand.

Ayr’s fans will be watching the Livingston match with interest as the Lions will have played twice (live BBC game on Friday night) before Ayr next takes to the pitch. By time 3pm on Saturday comes, Livi could be top of the league, 7 points ahead of the Honest Men.

• Morton will be looking to bounce back after their loss to Falkirk as they attempt to fight for the final promotion playoff place.

• Whilst Dunfermline are unbeaten in their last three games, but they have only picked up 5 points on their travels all season.

• Airdrie haven’t lost in their last 4 games and a win would see them close the gap to on either Hamilton and Dunfermline.
• Rovers have won their last 2 and a victory would see them move a point from the playoffs, with a game in hand over Partick Thistle.

Ayr United v Livingston Preview Following last week’s top of the table clash, the Honest Men now face a tough home fixture against the third team in the title hunt…

Ayr are the league’s in-form team and on an 8 game unbeaten run but Livi have the meanest defence in the Championship.

So with that result tonight, Morton are well and truly in the fight for the playoffs. 5 points behind Partick Thistle with 2 games in hand.

A big game on Friday against Falkirk, although playing Saturday, Tuesday, Friday may be tough for them.
