Autobot Cliffjumper in a walking pose. The Missing Link toy line that Cliffjumper is from takes the original Transformer toys from the 80's and recreates them to look exactly like the original toys but with more articulation. The original Cliffjumper toy was only capable of moving it's arms up and down at the shoulder joint while this one has movement in all it's limbs and can turn his head.

My top 10 GI Joe Classified figures from 2024z 10. Raptor - I’m a fan of the goofier and more outlandish characters in GI Joe and this guy always reminded me of Hawk from Buck Rogers and Condor Man, so I’m predisposed to like him. I was a fan of the MCU style flight pack, but he’s not higher because the neck articulation kinda sucks. 9. Mutt and Junkyard - I almost forgot he was a 2024 figure for me since he landed so early in the year, but these two are great updates and Junkyard is a wonderful super-articulated animal. I love Mutt’s angry portrait and striated neck tendons. 8. Scarlett - this one could have easily been Quarrel or Glenda who use the same base body to great effect, but getting this classic character done so well wins. 7. Big Boa - Another weirdo Cobra with a bit of a Mad Max vibe done really well. Tons of fun to pose. 6. Quick Kick- a favorite character from the show with a great unique body sculpt that does this Karate master justice. 5. Once a Man Cobra Commander - I had a tough time deciding between this version and the Retro, which is just about perfect, but the fun weirdness of this one won out. 4. Retro Duke - I love the original Classified Duke, but this just perfects that one for me. Love the punching fists inclusion. 3. Road Pig and Rawkus - I fell in love with this take the second I saw him at SDCC. I really appreciate how they went with a non-traditional, bulkier body and added so much more post apocalyptic Mad Max flavor. 2. Torch - Pretty traditional, but they nailed the update and the Lemmy vibes to the portrait put this one over the top. Best of the OG Dreadnoks in Classified. 1. Clutch and the VAMP - Clutch from the comics is one of my favorite Joes and the VAMP is my favorite Joe vehicle and both were updated perfectly to my taste.
Okay, month two into 2025 and I finally getting my Classified figures from 2024 organized and photographed. Of all the lines I collected last year, I probably photographed Classified the most, but even then it’s only a fraction. Here’s my top ten.
