My university received a few years ago the promise of the largest single gift to a public university in U.S. history. It was equivalent to 12 hours of bombing Iran.

Personally I also prefer it when I click the "my character is angry" dialog option, hearing them express that anger and other characters react to it, is a more meaningful "choice with consequences" than determining, for example, which slide the narrator reads to me at the end of the game.

I can: The Silent Protagonist others the perspective and ego of the player in a way that encourages Gamer Solipsism; the sense that they own the story, that it's not a collaborative experience, that the protagonist is apart from and above the world as it is portrayed and not existing within it.

Put me on a list of "antisemitic commie Nazis"? Ok, you're just a bizarre lunatic. But "AI enjoyers?" What the fuck man.

It's very Poster of me that of all the blocklists I'm on for egregious and indefensible reasons, the one that irritates me the most is "AI enjoyers."

It’s not disingenuous to point out that the NYT did not run a single front page story of the Minab bombing. You don’t dispute this claim because it’s true. And the story that you reference on your webpage does not attribute blame to US/Israel and frames it as an allegation by β€œIranian state media”

Trump himself is an obvious exception because I'm not sure he believes other people really exist.

Geriatric Democrats think they're personally irreplaceable and God's gift to politics, meanwhile sub-retirement age Republicans routinely tactically step aside to preserve their numbers and vigor.

Others are disputing the 40,000 number. I think it's also worth disputing the 47 years, unless Dr. Salles claim is that Iran wasn't living under oppression with the Shah.

The four Dems who voted to re-open DHS w/ no restrictions on ICE are: Henry Cuellar (TX), Don Davis (NC), Jared Golden (ME), and Marie Glusenkamp Perez.

Of those four, Cuellar won his primary, Davis was not challenged, and Golden is retiring.

Perez's primary is August 4th.

You seem to be denying the concept of expertise here. People have studied this. Iranians are not the first people to suffer under an oppressive regime and get bombed. Guess what happened the other times.

The argument I am making here is that there is vast evidence that this is never true, and that this carries greater weight than standpoint claims -- especially from the diaspora.

Everyone who has ever supported the idea of bombing an unpopular regime to liberate it has made the claim they are special and it will be different this time.

This is like a historian wading into a medical topic and saying it's inconceivable that viruses cause common colds.
