I do wish Doug showed up more often, he felt like a businessman in the background, despite doing some genuine good. I'm sure he did not want to defend NCL's poor decision-making but they didn't give their branches a choice and that would probably be the same for the new staff, unless NCL inproves.

NOA mostly handles legal enforcement and localization across NA, marketing and occasionally developing games under NST, they don't develop the top of the line Mario or DK games.

Doug at NOA wasn't the problem (or cause) I have with current Nintendo nor think he intends them to act the way they do now.

NOA does NOT have the same level of power NCL does that some think they do, no matter who's at the top at NOA, NCL calls the business shots other branches have to abide with.
