Congrats Juanma! Where did you end up finding one?

This is super fun unless you find it playing outside your window at 8:30 on a Saturday morning!

I owe my entire β€œsecond career” to social media.

After moving to Europe I was able to connect to people I met online and return to the work I loved from my youth. Since then I’ve never turned back.

The sauna-like temperature in this 787 that’s been parked for approximately 45 minutes in 17C ambient temperature is not helping my general dislike of the aircraft.

The β€œplease remain seated, boarding will begin shortly based on zones” draws a huge queue of half the passengers.

Every. Single. Time.

It’s really not that complicated folks.

As someone working in tech, this hits a little too close to home πŸ˜…

But good to know that parody LinkedIn shitposting is a thing!

I didn’t know there was any other kind of post on LinkedIn. It’s an absolute dumpster fire of grifters, assholes, and AI content.

Absolutely agree. An indoor space that feels like a park is the thing I want most from an airport!

This is super cool and love the Star Wars cantina aesthetic as much as anyone, but I can understand why this would not make for a pleasant airport experience. You’ve just spent 7 hours in a dark metal cylinder with 200 strangers, maybe low ceilings and brutalist seating aren’t the welcome you need.

The least shocking headline ever for anyone who’s ever driven an EV. On a positive note, I had a chat with some folks from Fastned last week and they mentioned that they consciously keep their charging parks smaller and growth limited to ensure they can maintain quality.

So some CPOs do get it.

The Flaminia coupΓ© is one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. The K coupΓ© is…not. Although I still appreciate the clean lines and sharp edges, the awkward proportions let it down.

Or if it’s an American connected thing, it will send data back to the US. These days, both seem equally dangerous, although the Chinese are clearly smarter at playing the long game.

The last place I lived in Philadelphia had started to open my eyes. The neighborhood was walkable and the train to the center was close by and heavily used. But so was the car.

I was already frustrated with having to drive instead of wanting to drive, as well as the traffic nightmares of US suburbs

Definitely, but still pretty distinctive details to find.

La Bagnole by Kilow, a tiny French EV VSP taken from a front three-quarter view in a trade show environment. The car is very simplistically designed, with simple bent panels and a black aluminum tube frame that sticks high out of the very low body structure. The car sits on very narrow tires and black steel wheels.

It's absolutely astonishing: In just about 13 years, Norway has skyrocketed from virtually no sales of zero-emission battery electric vehicles to nearly 100% of all new passenger car purchases.

Here in The Netherlands it’s not so divisive, but it’s not unheard of. I work in the car industry and prefer my bike and public transport to taking the car in most circumstances. I like using my car for stuff I want to do. DIY, travel with the family, just taking a drive, etc.
