I've finished 9 games already this year and it's only March.

Might be the year I finally get rid of some of this backlog 😂

The story was the best it's been in years. It's not without faults and there's still plot holes, but it's definitely more cohesive than most. I had an absolute blast and I look forward to the inevitable DLC.

Having one protagonist be more survival horror and the other be more action based was one of the smartest decisions I've seen the franchise make. It gives a good change of pace to keep things balanced without feeling like you're playing two different games.

Game Completed: Resident Evil Requiem (PS5, Platinum Trophy)
Time: ~25 hours

Finished 3 playthroughs and loved it. Best RE since 2 imo. -This- is where the series needs to be and the direction it should go.

And now it's time for the Insanity difficulty run.
