I feel it has to do with Nanae Chrono’s background on shonen that makes the story so dynamic, one of the volumes has a small extra story about genderfluid adventurers??? The whole thing is so fascinating. I read Trinity blood and the vibes are similar but of course that one isn’t bl :(

To this day nothing has ever been as cool as Vassalord, perfectly blending romance with so much fascinating plot. I dream to find something that feels the same but it doesn’t exist.

It’s also so hard to have a balance between a cool looking character that feels too accessorized and one that looks like they would wear their outfits on the regular, and Koujaku 100% looks like he chose every piece to create his outfit based on his personality and his profession

It fits so well with the game setting and the mix of futuristic sci-fi and more traditional elements!!! it so fun!!!
