The Commission is putting €2 trillion on the table!

An unprecedented investment plan for Europe, with €700 billion dedicated to the net-zero transition across the #EUBudget.

A genuine effort to stay in the industrial race with China and to build net-zero value chains in Europe.

It's encouraging to see that the Commission keeps the 35% climate mainstreaming in the new #MFF.

However, it's a wasted opportunity not to strictly exclude funding for #fossilfuel from the budget yet. Commissioner Hoekstra has a clear mandate in his mission letter on this.
