Hey everyone, after 8 amazing years working on some fantastic games with some of the best people I’ve moved on from Steamforged Games and am looking for a new challenge!

As such I’m on the look out for brand new opportunities in the tabletop industry freelance or full-time.

“Unbiased” board game reviews are the last ones to be trusted. Everyone has biases. Far more trustworthy are reviews that acknowledge their influence and bias. It indicates a level of awareness, honesty, and ability to contextualize that hints at more thoughtful and meaningful analysis and review.

Finally got to play some board games at the weekend, played Boop, Monikers, and Fate of the Fellowship.

Fate of the Fellowship is awesome! Despite being built on the bones of Pandemic, it's amazing how much it feels like it's own thing. Wins the prize for the smallest meeples too!

Sad that Florian has LLed before the only RtN that I'll get to play this season. Made worse by the fact that I was too sick to play my two local RtN's last weekend :(

Was a fan of it back in the day for its unique visuals and gameplay. Not sure how well it holds up. It's going to be hard to give a similar effect of wonder that the original visuals gave. We'll have to wait and see

Looking back at Longshanks its honestly wild how many Guild Ball events I played across the world. A total of 227 games at events, probably as many if not more outside of events between playtesting and casual play.

It's good to have a record, many have slipped from memory.

Congratulations! This is truly surprising and unprecedented. I look forward to Buried Giant's future!

2025 has been a year of some really highs and honestly some catastrophic lows. Though ultimately the year changing doesn't materially change anything I'm hoping and aiming to make 2026 a much better year

Prey and Outer Wilds are both games that I constantly think about. Both have just stuck with me and will stay with me. A lot of games are great but a very select few do this.

To put your concerns to bed we're not using AI on the project and the main artist on the project is Jacqui Davis (Red Rising and Everdell Farshore).

Working with Jacqui has been excellent and I can't wait to show off more of her amazing art

I would say a lot of my favourite artists of the last 10 years have had releases on Kscope. Some of favourites include: Amplifier, The Pineapple Thief, Lunatic Soul, Porcupine Tree (and Steven Wilson's solo stuff), and Anathema.
