I loved you all!
Kind of a Video Killed the Radio Star moment for me...
The Comic Section in color!!! The Parade insert!
It was a glorious time and you were a part Matt! That paper and that era have been over for decades and I've watched as you adapted over and over. I've been lucky that my job in Supply Chain has remained consistent.
Kudos to you and your ilk.
and deliver my route. She went inside because she had to do her regular job, running the household.
I loved that paper and subscribed until it was consumed by the internet.
I loved all of you: Alan, Jay Lustig, Steve W. (the guy that followed?), Jerry Izenberg...I'm sure there were more.
curated by a Group assembled with conscious thought as to the impact on the finished product.
I proudly delivered that paper on my bicycle for years. My Mom was what was called a District Manager. She delivered the papers to the paperboys. I'd get up with her at 4, help her and then come home
Just happenstance that I knew you from what I presume was the beginning, at the Star Ledger.
Those were the days money was invested in the printed medium and competition was high. You and Alan sold a lot of advertising, I'm sure.
The Sunday Papers were fat those days. Chock full of information
Good luck!

@mcnuttmonica.bsky.social you make the broadcast entertaining. The personal "disagrements" you create allow viewers/listeners to choose sides within a broadcast they already have a viewing interest in.
It adds an unintended fan level. You're either pro or anti this "thing"
Very clever. Engaging.
If your policies and ideas were truly good enough and you believed in them with passion, you'd believe you could win under any circumstances.

When they can't explain their expectations clearly, some people resort to forcing compliance.
It is weakness disguised as strength. You can see this in our current admin's management style.
Either the goal is unclear or the objective is unattainable. Acquiescence isn't agreement.
It's a know it when you see it kind of thing. You're so accustomed to finding the stud amongst the best you have and once a decade, someone comes along at an entirely different level. They dominate your best. It is only then you realize you've been grading on a curve.
07.03.2026 03:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I feel like I forgot how I used to do it because it is pretty difficult sometimes. I guess it's a loss of flexibility?

This is a bomb that will explode within the next 10 years. People don't have pensions and their 401k's aren't going to sustain them. We are talking millions and millions of aging Americans that will need to rely on Gov't assistance or the good will of their children.
We are becoming 3rd World quick
Share this, it is pretty powerful.

I was born in '64, so they hit their stride when a lot of my preferences were already in place.
There is a modern production mix that puts the vocals at the same level as the instrumentation.
My ear has difficulty with that. Pumpkins may have been at the forefront.
I was never a fan. It seemed a sound based on production and knobs being turned to the right number, ensuring the entire mix was fuzz.

He seems to be saying the weapons he built in his first admin can be used to supplement his current supply, yet Biden somehow gave his supply to Ukraine? How many stashes are there? Where's Obama's? This guy is so fucking stupid and people can't see it? Really? Not at all?
