If you look closely, one can find the origins of every single vampiric Clan of World of Darkness in humanity's books, movies, legends, and tales.

With this, I'm going to wrap up the Tzimisce thread. Questions and opinions are more than welcome as long as they are with respect.

The Tzimisce Clan Crest. It features a black shield with a rampant yellow dragon. Arrownd the shield there's black and yellow flowers, on top of it a grey knight helmet with a crown and a golden dragon mounted in the helmet.

Even the name of the Clan itself comes from a city in the Transylvanian territory: Timișoara.
And speaking of Romanian land, from the Tzimisce Clan crest one can trace a direct line with some of the most influential families of the Middle Ages in the Balkans. I'll leave it there...➕

It's obvious that all of this must come from somewhere and this ones especially reminds of Dracula, Vlad Țepeș and the old Balcan vampiric miths and with good reason, since these are the direct inspirations for the making of the Tzimisce.➕

The Tzimisce come from the "old continent " of Europe, around the Carpathians. They used to be Vaivodas back in the Middle Ages; with generational wealth, land, and influence. Many old Tzimisces still preserve this, especially the influence since it's the real currency vampires tend to use.➕

This Clan is said to be born from the oldest of Cain's nephews, The Eldest; as the Tzimisce and many others like to call them since their true name is long lost.
If you ask the Blue Bloods, they will counter-argument this by saying that *their* antediluvian is the oldest one, so this mustn't be.➕

Sascha Vykos. One of the most prominent Tzimisce in the Vampire the Masquerade lore. They modified themselve to the point of beautiful monstrosity reaching the summit of their enlightenment.

Circling back to Vicissitude; thanks to this ability, the Tzimisce discovered a rather unique way of living the un-life and, with this, developed two Paths of Enlightenment almost exclusive to them:
The Path of Bones and the Path of Metamorphosis.
I'll refrain from talking about them for now.➕

Along with Vicissitude, they're also users of Auspex: enhanced senses, and the ability to see auras, spirits, and other things invisible to the common eye; and Animalism: the capability of connecting with their own Beast and the understanding, speaking, and commanding of animals.➕

A Tzimisce vampire with tree of their horrible creations: - A Fleshed out man, with hanging skin, grabbed with hooks and chains; this creature has no mouth nor eyes. - A homunculus like creature begging their master for mercy. - A woman gutted of her hair, eyes and limbs, skin warping arround her forcing her to crawl for the rest of his painful life.

Many aspects of Vicissitude are horrible and deeply painful; for this very reason, many vampires don't like the Tzimisce and view them as sadists, even among the Kindred . Thanks to these practices, they earned the nickname of "The Demons.➕

Clan Tzimisce are said to be flesh sculptors. Thanks to their signature discipline, Vicissitude, they are able to manipulate bones, muscle, and even the color of skin and hair. They're fond of applying Vicissitude to themselves and others, and they particularly enjoy doing it as a form of torture.➕

Since this post got 3 likes I will do the following clans in order.
Starting with my own clan, the Tzimisce; followed by my dad's clan, the Lasombra (yeah, I'm aware of how ironic this sounds), and last but not least the Assamite, the very first clan I played with.
