I want Arsenal to win silverware this year. Lots of it. And despite the current form and narrative, I still think that is very possible.

But hand to God... if you could promise me that Spurs would get relegated if Arsenal don't win anything, I would spend longer than I like to admit considering it.

I didn't like ANYTHING about how Arsenal approached this game. And Wolves is terrible. So no excuses.

But it took a worldie and a completely unusual blunder from 2 world class players for Arsenal to end up with a draw, during a midweek game on the road.

I'll keep my optimism, thanks.

Absolutely! It's called a "Football Enjoyment". One part reality, one part optimism, mix with three parts of perspective and pour over ice.

This is exactly the right response.

Arteta has helped turn this into a serious team with serious expectations and aspirations. Regardless of all of the noise, he's an excellent manager. There aren't 5 managers in the WORLD that I'd trade him for... and the few that exist aren't coming to Arsenal.

They played very poorly. The performance, tactics, effort, and result were all simply not good enough.

But this remains an excellent team in an excellent position to achieve excellent things. I still believe.

Truly terrible performance today against a truly terrible team.

I get it. It suuuucks so bad to drop points in a game like this against a team like that. And those points could very well come back to bite them at the end of the year.

But this season will be judged by how they fare in the Cups and how they do vs City in week 33.

That is a TERRIBLE result for Arsenal. And that was a TERRIBLE performance from Arsenal. I'm not happy. Lot of stuff needs to be fixed. Simply not good enough for a team with such aspirations.

But I have perspective. This is a very good team who happened to play very badly.

It's theoretically possible that Arsenal & Man City could play eachother:

2. The player who draws the foul or kicks the ball that is handled resulting in a penalty that is successfully scored.
