That said, the things I do love about dedicated cameras is when they work better with external mic setups like DJI Mics, shotguns, etc. But there are solutions for those that work with phones, too.

As someone who has multiple cameras (action and pro level) you'll love the novelty at first. But unless it can achieve things your phone can't (control, movement, etc) you'll probs eventually come back to convenience over having to pack that one extra thing or go through extra steps in workflow.
