Rather soggy tinderbox today thankfully.

My wife and I, 70, have just spent a long weekend travelling by public transport to Yorkshire from Surrey, via London and Leeds. We were only mugged 5 times, stabbed 3 times and shot once! A very enjoyable weekend.

It is a problem for the trade that objectivity/the facts lead you to a place where you may be constantly critical. But "balance" is a bogus concept and a false god. Charles Wheeler used to say: report the evidence. That isn't bias!

Will America be able to detox after Trump has gone? Will any Republicans be honest enough to discuss what happened and how it could be prevented again? How did such an ill-equipped person (and such a blatant con-man and liar) make it to the White House, twice?
