How was the projection in screen 1 for this? Going tomorrow and I was initially planning on Vue but I'll be staying with a friend in Castletroy for a course so getting over there will be a balls. I saw they advertise laser now.

I'm really surprised by that because last year my friend was sick for The Brutalist, so I was able to swap out his ticket for another film with no problem.

Do they have an in-person ticket booth this year? Might be worth trying, but I'll buy your ticket if you wanna get rid of it.

I thought this was online already, so I skipped it, but I saw it's playing again on Thursday, so I might double-feature it with The Voice Of Hind Rijab. Feel bad cinema FTW.

Anyways it's been nearly 2 weeks since I saw it and I'm still pissed off about it.

I hated it so much, it was an insult to the book, GDT seemed to take glee dancing all over Mary Shelly's grave with his monster obsession.

It also looked like shit.

I've been here! It was so much fun, and from what I remember, the drinks were pretty affordable too!

Odeon cancelled the 3D screenings of Predator Badlands and Vue only have it playing once a day at silly times :')

Finally a good movie :)

Was very meh on the original and this improved on it in every way.

Would love to see a supporting nomination for Aidan Delbis.

Glad you enjoyed it but I fucking hated how "Netflix" it felt, GDT completely missed the point of the novel because he wanted to make Frankensteins creature a near perfect character.

It's pretty stupid but I had a great time with this, was grinning like an idiot at a certain part. Love that it's not afraid to have a body count.

I got to see the GDT Frankenstein but I left it kinda pissed off because it completely missed the point of the novel.

Frankenstein killing the people he loves by accident is a metaphor for what Mary Shelly went through and this adaptation completely misses the point.

I really blame the bye bye man for this flopping.

Was it good? I'm probably going to see it next weekend.

FYI for anyone in Dublin who wants to see the new Yorgos early it's playing TONIGHT at the lighthouse.

I'll wait for Ryan Murphy to butcher the story, I can only imagine how he would sex it up.
