It follows the largest-ever consultation by RCSI, with surgeons across specialities and hospitals contributing.

Research led by The University of Edinburgh, in collaboration with RCSI's Dr Edmund Gilbert, has mapped the genetics of haemochromatosis across the UK and Ireland.
The study analysed data from 400,000 people and identified hotspots in Irish and Scottish populations.
