#evuwatched Fallout (S2) …ya, didn't cancel my prime subscription 🫣 but at least made some use of it! However, conflicted about S2: It felt a bit …much (considering EP runtimes)? …all at once? Sometimes just to reference a game bit? We'll see if S3 will therefore end up tying it all together better~

I know it's hard to build new friendships as an adult, but I also can't shake off the feeling that some people play the game on the most exhaustive difficulty level just out of principle 🫠 Literally the Dark Souls of human interactions~

At the same time I stumbled upon Hartmut Rosa which makes me a bit optimistic, since I very much relate to his concept of Resonance, in the same way I felt Marx's Alienation when I encountered burnout nearly 2 years ago (tbf Rosa also references that). After having spent a day researching Erich Fromm's work, it's funny how he said Marx was just unlucky to have written Capital 100 years too early, bc late stage capitalism was happening "now" …which was said in an interview that happened in 1977 😵‍💫 Time is a flat circle & humanity will never get it~

Uninstalled Nova Launcher because of the new ads, but noticing Google Pixel's native/"at a glance" functionality is still utterly horrendous, so guess I will have to search for an alternative again after all...

If you’re afraid to start learning how to draw something because you’re afraid it will turn out bad, do it as a joke and draw it as badly as you can on purpose. It’s surprising how much you can improve when you aren’t afraid to mess up

How to finish something. Watch me finish a single comic panel and talk about how to finish a good thing. Finish a bad thing. Finish a something. Your value as a human isn’t tied to the value of the things you make, or their successes or failures.

Often the hardest part, as an artist, is to find the motivation to start and do the work. But it's actually easy. No matter what, you sit down and START working on it (or anything). EVERYTIME I do that, after a short time I can't stop.. and things start happening. It gives me the motivation I need.

Same problem with Patience & Pluribus tho, that I've only seen episode 1 of each, even tho those are both series I would probably binge on the spot, but I won't give in & subscribe to some obscure streaming service for a single show... Might have to take a trip by sea instead in the near future <_<

I'm in a tunnel vision phase again where I watch Lost in Translation or Pluribus & can't help but see it as one huge metaphor for neurodiversity… Or Patience which is actually about autism & even tho it's very exaggerated I still shed a tear because I kinda felt represented for once in a long time~

#evuwatched Saltburn (2023) & I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I thought this would be more scandalous? However, it was quite neat & enjoyable. The cinematography was great & I liked Keoghan's performance even a bit more than in The Killing of a Sacred Deer~

Anyone tried "just the browser" yet or found some insightful reviews? Changing browsers is always quite the hassle for me so I'm kinda conflicted about migrating everything to Waterfox, but giving these scrips a go & it ends up just like my already configured Firefox would also be in vain <_<

A new addition to the project to illustrated the entire Fellowship of the Ring (and more) from J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Lord of the Rings' through my love of painting hands. I love the way hands are so expressive, capturing the portrait of the person.
It has been 5 years since the last Middle-earth..
