Everyone recommends it, but for good reason. It's built to handle large, complex projects (I use it for world bibles as well as drafting novels).

There's no AI, and the program sits on your local hard drive, so your data and work stay in your control.

Thank you very much! :-) We do know, and we're attempting to get it removed via Apple's recommended channels. It's taking much longer than we anticipated. We're not entirely sure how the app got through the submission process! All the best, DJ.

Copyholders let you keep a reference doc open inside the editor while you write - great for continuity checks and research (PDFs/images/web pages) without constant scrolling.

Whether it's a scene or idea that doesn't fit in this project (but might in your next) or a chapter that sparks a spin-off, you may want to copy items from one Scrivener project to another. There are two ways to do this, and both are very simple.
