The building destroyed by fire in Glasgow is Union Corner. Designed by architect James Brown, it was built in 1851 for stationers Francis Orr & Sons. For years there was a Barr’s Irn Bru illuminated ad over the roofline and a neon Bell’s Scotch whisky sign on the dome. This view was taken in 1981.

That's reasonable. I'm not a fan of false equivalence in these situations but if you're in a field with a bull don't stand there waving a red flag, or a tricolour, or any flag at all. Don't get into the field.

Surely the problem is that if he commits to this while in office it'll become a quagmire that'll pass to the next president, then the next, and so on, with none willing to say "right, that's enough, stop this nonsense".
