The stuff from Lidl and Aldi is good too, I think cow milk tastes weird after a couple of years drinking oat milk.

09.03.2026 18:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Did Australia attack Iran?
09.03.2026 18:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Occam's Razor might say it's likeliest that they would prefer not to be in Iran just now. I can think of three solid reasons why.
09.03.2026 18:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A bit of a convoluted plot, don't you think?
09.03.2026 17:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is one of the guys who tried to attack Araujo. Let's make him famous! #celticfc

09.03.2026 16:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The lie wasn't remotely as devastating as the truth. The destroyed building has a real place in the heart of Glaswegians in a way that Tim Horton's doesn't.
09.03.2026 12:54 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Looks like a transference/straw man thing going on. "Ah, I know what kind of man you are" based on any number of historic examples from anywhere, and then attacking that because it's a bit more cathartic and affirming than getting to know you a bit or adjusting their views.
09.03.2026 11:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Glasgow's Union Corner in 1981 with Renault Fuego in foreground.
The building destroyed by fire in Glasgow is Union Corner. Designed by architect James Brown, it was built in 1851 for stationers Francis Orr & Sons. For years there was a Barrβs Irn Bru illuminated ad over the roofline and a neon Bellβs Scotch whisky sign on the dome. This view was taken in 1981.
09.03.2026 10:09 β π 25 π 9 π¬ 4 π 1Though of course the police didn't think that was a valid excuse.
08.03.2026 23:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Buildings burning in Iran, that's sexier news.
08.03.2026 23:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All access to the Southside goes through it. Most of the buses even go through Union Street. Pretty huge impact.
08.03.2026 23:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The sugar content means they don't go off easily though, so I prefer the basement.
08.03.2026 23:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I wish that had happened too, though really I think the people of the USA deserve better than your present alternatives.
08.03.2026 23:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How long did that conflict go on? If you think my point is that Democrats won't stop wars then perhaps I didn't make myself clear. These can become hugely expensive, brutal, barbaric quagmires. Boots on the ground Iran would too. Twenty years later maybe someone will end that too.
08.03.2026 23:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Please do, though the last lot seemed pretty okay with the genocide of Palestinians so I hope the next Democrats elected aim higher than that, morally.
08.03.2026 23:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That would be nice. The drums seem to be beating though.
08.03.2026 23:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That's great, good for them, hopefully someone else will but perhaps that'll take some time, trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of dead humans. Who knows?
08.03.2026 23:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Children excrete jam from their fingertips so yeah, it's risky.
08.03.2026 23:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Perhaps by then the idea of the USA losing face by withdrawing will seem a bit silly - it's losing face by participating.
08.03.2026 23:06 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
I keep thinking of healthcare being so inadequate in the USA, and people dying needlessly as a result, while endless trillions are poured into a military machine determined to kill people needlessly elsewhere.
How fucked up is that?
Good luck though. Sincerely.
That's reasonable. I'm not a fan of false equivalence in these situations but if you're in a field with a bull don't stand there waving a red flag, or a tricolour, or any flag at all. Don't get into the field.
08.03.2026 23:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Surely the problem is that if he commits to this while in office it'll become a quagmire that'll pass to the next president, then the next, and so on, with none willing to say "right, that's enough, stop this nonsense".
08.03.2026 22:30 β π 29 π 1 π¬ 5 π 0No casualties reported but that photograph is well out of date, utterly gutted, the facade falling into Union At.

Part of the Union Street facade has collapsed into the street.
