if you're being honest when you say you're afraid that there won't be anymore elections, then show it and help win elections while we can.

we're predicted to have a high chance of retaking the house and / or senate this year. it's just a matter of asking if you want those wins. let's work for them.

Prediction markets cannot be a vehicle for profiting off advance knowledge of military action.

We need answers, transparency, and oversight.

Reminder that Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarket's advisory board and his firm invested double-digit millions into the platform last year.

The DOJ and CFTC both had active investigations into Polymarket that were dropped after Trump took office.

When this person bought in, the market had this at a 17% probability. They turned roughly $87,000 into over half a million dollars overnight.

When we get through this and are having public trials going through all the crimes they committed, there's gonna be stuff like this that a lot of people memory-holed or missed, there's just so much, and its never, ever going to make sense how it all went on for so long.

Going to prison for 15 to life for murdering your neighbors with a hammer, but you're OK, because you made $99 million on Polymarket betting your exact crime would happen, and another $12 million on a rider bet that you'd get 15 to life for it.

This is going to be an extraordinary way to get for example conspiracy theorists and cult members to bet every penny they have on "the world will end on May 17" or whatever the hell the latest delusion is.

They've monetized and incentivized committing crimes against humanity.

It's a scandal on par with Pete Rose betting on baseball, if Pete Rose were undersecretary of defense, and baseball was murdering civilians with bombs.

3 US troops killed, 5 seriously wounded in actions against Iran U.S. Central Command officials announced Sunday that three U.S. service members were killed in action during combat operations.

I am furious.

This is what I feared.

3 U.S. troops are now dead.

5 U.S. troops are wounded.

And for what?!

Because our addled, draft dodging President Donald Trump felt like going to war.

It's time to double and triple down on our efforts to win this year.

My idiot Congressman Mike Lawler got dragged yesterday for his fundamental misunderstanding of The War Powers Act.

Big thanks to @indivisrockland.bsky.social for compiling the responses so that I didn’t have to.

US moving pregnant immigrant girls to Texas to avoid providing abortions, critics say β€” Guardian US Ex-official calls transfer of unaccompanied girls as young as 13, many pregnant due to rape, a human rights violation

Republicans still trying to control a girls and women’s uterus. Once the children are born, the government will refuse to pay for their healthcare after the forced pregnancies. Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS! Trump’s America.😑🀬

140 Members of Congress Vote to Advance Articles of Impeachment Against Trump - Free Speech For People On December 11, 2025, 140 members of the US House of Representatives voted to advance Congressman Al Green’s articles of impeachment against President Trump.

Every person pushing back at impeachment demands at this point is an op and you won't convince me otherwise.

Remember in December 2025, 140 House members supported impeachment. This is up from 4 members when Rep. Green first introduced articles in early 2025.

Anti-impeach crowd wants you to fail.

Whatever discomfort people experience being told they are enabling fascism is very small in comparison to the discomfort they are inflicting on everyone else.

And my first job after Congress was as a meat cutter at my favorite bbq place. One of the best jobs I ever had.

01.03.2026 07:12 β€” πŸ‘ 33    πŸ” 6    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I like to think I'm reasonably intelligent and it took me literally years to understand how insane the behavior was on the inside.

But I wouldn't have figured it out independently if people weren't calling it out.

01.03.2026 07:12 β€” πŸ‘ 22    πŸ” 4    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Everytime I hear you all say, "don't tell staffers they're working for fascists" what I hear is you telling those family members whose family was killed by Phillip Morris's choices not to call Phillip Morris and materially impact their bottom line to say they killed their loved ones.

But ok.

01.03.2026 00:50 β€” πŸ‘ 417    πŸ” 38    πŸ’¬ 5    πŸ“Œ 0

And the thing that stuck out in his retelling (this is like 20 years ago) is that Phillip Morris had to pay customer service reps a shit ton more than industry standard to do that job, and still had an insane level of churn because those families kept calling.

01.03.2026 00:49 β€” πŸ‘ 334    πŸ” 22    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

And according to him Phillip Morris even sprung for therapists for them, but he got one phone call too many and he realized they could not pay him enough to absorb the trauma Phillip Morris had inflicted on millions of families by covering up that cigarettes caused cancer. So he quit.

01.03.2026 00:47 β€” πŸ‘ 334    πŸ” 17    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 1

He quit and took a massive pay cut in the process because too many of the calls ended up not being people trying to get swag, but phone calls from loved ones who had died from cigarettes (this was right after the cig lawsuits of the 90s/ early 2000s)

01.03.2026 00:46 β€” πŸ‘ 296    πŸ” 17    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I've told this story before but I used to work customer service with this dude who had previously worked customer service for Phillip Morris. He was on the team doing something for their points club? Like if you bought enough cigs you could turn it in for like Marlboro swag or something?

01.03.2026 00:44 β€” πŸ‘ 259    πŸ” 16    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 1

And again, this is about heckling the staffers CHOOSING to work for government officials who are abdicating their constitutional duties.
