Allentown cafe deemed Lehigh Valley’s 1st Blue Zone restaurant The designation recognizes the role of Jay's Local as a gathering space in western Allentown and its recent push to offer more nutritious options to diners.

Jay’s Local is the city’s first approved restaurant under the Blue Zones Project, an initiative to improve health by supporting healthier diets, exercise, and improved social connections. As homage to Muhlenberg, they have added the “Mighty Mule” protein drink to the menu.
