When people try to convince me of obvious BS, my face makes it obvious that I don't buy it. So when they accuse me of thinking they might be lying, I tell them:
"No, I believe you think *you* are telling the truth."
or
"No, I'm sure *you* think that's true."

But when a man kills that CEO, that's murder and anarchy. I don't know that it's fair to judge the killer of a mass murder. That could be seen as harm reduction if you think about it.
