My first series is a bit of a globe trotter. Espionage stories have a cool way of allowing for the settings to change and amazing backdrops to interesting stories and learning about different cultures.

I'm a sucker for gothic aesthetic, but I also love the feeling liminal spaces gives me.

Sci-fi can benefit from horror, and the fear of the unknown is always a great catalyst for diving into the human condition, which Sci-fi normally explores.

Oooo like more of a wowing hook that'll lure unsuspecting readers before the emotional gut punches. 😅 I love when writers subvert expectations, but it's so difficult sometimes to pull off!

Ah! it's so good! I hate killing the darlings. It always sucks when a great scene doesn't match the rest of the book!

At the Farmhouse, Freya was dusting the attic when she spotted something poking out from under a tarp on a table in the corner that made her smile brightly. Downstairs, Hector looked around and didn’t notice anyone near. He reached into the fridge and pulled out the gallon of milk. He twisted the top off, took a swig, and placed it back into the fridge. He shut the fridge door only to be startled by Freya rushing toward him, carrying a CD case. He thought she was going to bash it over his head. “I’m sorry!” He flinched, but Freya walked past him. Confused, he eyed her as she searched through the drawers. “Ah ha!” She pulled out the pack of double D batteries and placed them into her pocket. With a glowing grin, she reached for Hector’s arm and tugged him along as she made her way out of the house. “You’re disgusting, by the way.”
