For myself, Stellaris' factions stand out in terms of how much depth/complexity it delivers relative to game impact, but unless DLC did more with it, that impact easily faded into being one more among many options for micromanaging galactic empire. But still highly nuanced for its genre.

My prediction is that 2026 will happen, but it will only allowed to be meaningful if 47 can leverage it to punish disloyal reps. Each time news/polling ties MAGA to losing elections we're due for another narcissistic tantrum. But 2028 is en route to be more and worse "Reality TV" propaganda theater.

The price of eggs sure won't matter once tariffs hit. The poorer the community, the more of a store's goods are imported internationally. And there won't be federal support incoming to keep the lights or heat on. State governments will become too busy with this crisis to deal with the next one.
