I don't have any pictures of snow and blizzard aftermath to share. Thank God! I spent the first half of my life in snow country, in Colorado, Massachusetts, Vermont, and upstate New York. Now I'm happy to see this when I come outside in the morning.

Definitely a bit of both. Who was it - Stephen King maybe? - who said something like, 'I only write when inspiration strikes. Fortunately, it strikes every morning promptly at 9 am.'

Batteries are depleted. . . the well is dry. . . We have euphemisms for feeling run down, out of energy or ideas. You can plot along and do the shopping, cooking, or cleaning in that state, but writing? Art? It’s not so easy.
