The ssscat is nice because if you scold a cat they’ll think “I’m not allowed to do this *when the human is around*” but the ssscat makes them associate the space itself with a negative consequence.

To avoid them getting on countertops give them a surface that’s higher than the countertop that they’re allowed to be on. Don’t ever spank them or spray them with water. To deter them from climbing on countertops I recommend the ssscat, it’s a motion activated can of air.

A lot of those people were told to leave their cars there. They were trying to evacuate but when the flames hit the back row of cars they were ordered to walk.
