At Union Market today we tried Egg Yaki, Chef Nicholas Martino’s omelet-pancake creation. We picked the kimchi version, which turned out to one of the best egg dishes I’ve ever had in my life: tangy, spicy, a little citrus from the yuzu mayo, and just the right crunch from garlic and shallots.

The iPhone 17 Pro is a very unbalanced device in the hand both with and without a case. Maybe I’ll get used to it, but so far that’s been the biggest issue.

Really enjoyed Varun Grover’s standup show in DC and hanging out with him. Not only is he funny and smart, but also down-to-earth.

Putting aside the argument that this will mean more jobs for Americans (when many companies will simply offshore) the economic growth isn’t zero sum. Skilled employees who create value, make products, spend money— create many more jobs than their own.
