The messed up part about this, I grew up in the Evangelical faith. He's likely being 100% sincere about this, it also factors into the right wing defense of Israel. We are literally being governed by adherents to a Doomsday cult.

I love in RE9 how they really hammered home with the acting on Grace, how out of her depth she is. This girl is on the verge of a breakdown/panic attack for the majority of her playtime. And I feel it really elevated the straight horror of her parts.

That being said it would be great if Capcom was willing to make at least the classic trilogy available on more digital platforms, the risk from replacement only happens when you can not get the originals.

It is what it is, like unless you "grew up" with the classics, old school survival horror isn't the easiest thing to get into, especially in a modern gaming context. Hell I did grow up with the classics and can tolerate the ways of old, but I think the remakes are a net good.

Also as far as I'm concerned Capcom has established that the Resident Evil remakes are the canon versions of the story. Requiem kinda proves this.

I have finished Resident Evil: Requiem. I think its in my top three RE games. It succeeds in trying to do what RE6 failed to do.
Also this is the first time Capcom has stuck the landing on a final part of a narrative trilogy.

I can not stress how important those movies are to me.

For me it was Spider-Man 1, I saw how excited my parents got over his cameo and I asked why. Then I got the lore, and they let me have a sleep over where me and my friend watched the Evil Dead trilogy on VHS.

So far of lost a brother, my mom and as of right now 2 heroes (not counting Bruce) to various cancers. Meanwhile our country's Healthcare system is being guided by senior worm-brain.
