He kept his distance, but remained mobile by walking around their imaginary ring. He’s yet to see her work with a weapon and he was excited to see which one she would choose to wield.

Shang-Chi spun around as she evaded the last of his punches, keeping his hands up. He was impressed. The two had sparred a couple of times and just when he thought he understood her, Cassandra pulled out a new trick.

“Hm.” He reached behind him and grabbed two Kali sticks off of the wall.

Sure she had seen him. Studies him, sure. But he took pride in how unpredictable he was. He lunged forward with a straight punch, but faked out of it, quickly raising his leg and foot to the side of her head.

The last time he sparred with Cassandra was the most fun he had in a long time. She was fast and sharp witted. Her punches packed power behind them. She understood the true nature of Martial Art. To flow.
