While I liked a few songs by The Alarm, I wouldn’t consider myself a fan. But hearing Mike Peters’ stories on the BBC podcast “Jon Holmes Says the C Word” gave me a greater appreciation of him and his music. Gutted to lose him. 😢

A brilliant songwriter. The Ocean Cliff Clearing is probably my all-time fav song of his, but those 1st three LPs - Bloomed, Devotion+Doubt, and Since - are utter perfection. I feel privileged to have caught him live 5x. Magical. Every. Time.
