Out of curiosity, is the series and its narrative planned in some way, or do you just find yourself adding to it and continuing it when you feel like drawing for it specifically? It has such a strong mood and visual language that I guessed with this entry we were going to get near the end of it!

I’m so happy to see a continuation of this series! I love this entry — the contrast is fantastic, with Ingmar’s face half in the light. There’s something slightly ominous but ethereal about his expression that I really like. The textures of the whole piece and the stars are just lovely ✨

The mood and composition in this are stunning. There's such a beautiful, quiet, somber pensiveness to this piece that I just love! Surana's expression and body language, and the muted tones of the painting leave such a haunting impression that just makes you wonder what she's thinking in that moment

I'll also use this occasion to say that I loved that small exchange Sai and Ingmar had recently where she was offering him financial advice lol (I kept thinking about it the other day). Their dynamic is PEAK and so is the way you capture and communicate so clearly their personalities in your work!

Honestly, that's a pretty good way of thinking about it (I'll try to keep it in mind next time I'm feeling too conscious). I tend to overthink a lot when it comes to posting online, so the level of openness with which you share your OCs with us is legitimately something I aspire to reach!

I have not, yet! I'm currently working on a few pieces with them so we'll see if I build up the nerve to do so then ahah, but I really appreciate the interest – it's very sweet of you ☺️ It's been lovely to see you share so much about yours and it always makes me happy to see them pop up on my feed!

I feel no one is in Sai's league – she's just too cool! As an aside, it's always interesting to observe the different relationships someone has with their OCs; mine too vary, and there's some OCs I'm just outright terrified of (but still love) lol

Some time ago, I started making these semi-polished thumbnails in my sketchbook (A5) of scenes from my stories and since then the 'format' has become one of my favourites to draw in. It's nice to be able to test an idea out without the pressure of having to commit to a whole page!

Recently, it's been hard to balance hand pain with wanting to draw, but I've been forced to take a bit of a break on the art front so as to not make it worse. Crossing my fingers that it passes soon – there's so much stuff I want to make!
