They have a butterfly sitting on the index finger of their hand and it's emitting a blue glow across the character. They are wearing a blue, baggy turtleneck. Their expression is happy as they watch the butterfly. The subject is floating on a white background.

A drawing of the same character from the previous image but the forms are less defined - the hand and turtleneck lack lineart and only suggest a hand and clothing folds. The colours and lines are more messy and the blue butterfly appears to emit a yellow glow as well as a blue glow. The shadows on the skin tone appear more colourful with a purple hue. Overall there is less contrast to the piece, and the highlights aren't as defined.

I redid a painting/doodle from 2022 that I never posted and I'm super happy with the improvement I've made! :D
