An email from Voices of Children, send end of December 2024, which reads: "Dear Brandon and the whole team of Necrosoft Games, As we gather with our loved ones during this festive season, please know that your commitment to our cause has brought hope to more than 67,000 children and their families facing the challenges of war in Ukraine. During this year, our team has grown to 162 professionals, about 100 of whom are psychologists and leisure organisation specialists. Our psychologists worked in 14 Ukrainian cities, conducting more than 7,000 individual and 2,200 group psychological consultations and organizing more than 3,200 psychosocial events for children and adults. Among them are day camps, outdoor camps, and excursions around Ukraine. We renovated and equipped 8 shelters in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kirovohrad regions. Our warehouse shipped individual aid to families and communities every day. Children all over Ukraine went to school with the new stationery lovingly packed by our office staff. Additionally, for the New Year holidays, more than 5,000 children will receive special gifts. Thank you for your support! We look forward to proceeding with our joint work in the coming year! Together, we will support childhood for thousands and thousands of children of Ukraine."
In 2022 the game industry and its players raised $6.3m for charities in Ukraine. One, Voices of Children, focuses on healing kids mental scars in wartime. They're still using the money we raised today. In 2024 they helped thousands of kids and rebuilt 8 ruined buildings. We are not our government.
