Spinners is back! Frederick has a pinball arcade again!

Looking back on my youth, there were probably times I was unaware of how unsafe I was in DC. The DC of the last 15 years is not the DC of those days, and it’s been a long time since I felt unsafe in any part of the city.

Spent some time shinying up Torch, then cracked open wutang for the first time in months. It still boots and most of the switches work! Not bad for having moved around so much.

And with a little jump on the slam tilt capacitor- Torch is booting! Still not starting a game, so we can’t totally celebrate, but this MPU is saved from the trash pile for now.

I showed up tool the pinball tournament and there was a secret movie theater and vhs video store pop up behind a curtain showing 80s horror movies. I love Baltimore more every time I go.

And now everyone has legs! Dipsy Doodle is playing great, but Torch will be a project.

What a weekend up in York. I picked up some tournament success and a couple of classic pins.

I had an amazing time at the inaugural #ValleyEchoes tour in Staunton yesterday! Yeah every town in Virginia has some creepy history.

Had a blast seeing DRI Saturday night at Cafe 611. I hope Spike is Ok, but it was cool seeing all the locals fill in on guitar over the course of the set.

Nine Inch Nails in Baltimore last night was incredible. And the same building where I first saw them 31 years ago.

Ok, we just saw it. And oof, it was kind of all over the place. There were good things about it, but it was no midsommar.
