For as long as we can remember, Eurovision was our escape. It was our safe space, something we turned to when we needed joy, community, and connection. Eurovision Hub was born from those same values. But after the outcome of the EBU General Assembly, we no longer feel aligned with the contest in its current state, nor do we recognise the direction it is heading. The Eurovision we once knew, the one that shaped this community and inspired us to create the channel, just isn't the contest we fell in love with all those years ago. To continue making content without acknowledging that shift would go against our values, our integrity, and what feels right to us. So for now, we're pressing pause on our content and coverage. If things change in the future, we hope to be back. But right now, it's just a massive thank you. To everyone who has watched, commented, subscribed, engaged, supported us, or simply felt at home in our little corner of the internet, we thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. You helped build something we will forever be proud of. None of this would have existed without the incredible Hub team, past and present, and we're endlessly grateful for every piece of yourselves you've given to this channel. Eurovision Hub will remain online for all of us to revisit the memories, the friendships, the laughs, and everything we created together. No matter where we go next, we'll carry this chapter with us. Hello and thank you. I doubt my post over there will be seen much as I plot my escape. It’s a shame I have to do it as I’ve found my people over there & don’t want to have to start educating algorithms all over again. As for the takeover, I’m sure it’ll happen as it appears everyone can be bought!
