I wish so badly I could go to the Houston #nokingsprotest on the 18th. I’ll be having my first chemo treatment for cancer recurrence on the 17th so I won’t feel well enough to go walk. At least, I think I won’t feel well enough. Maybe I can walk for 45-60 minutes.

I’m OK considering that my cancer has recurred. Can’t have radiation again. So this time it will be chemo & immunotherapy. How are you?

What many people fail to understand is COVID vaccine & booster are like flu shots. Flu & Covid vaccines don’t prevent ALL people who are vaccinated from getting flu/covid. It just makes it less likely you’ll get infected & if you do get it, people will have milder symptoms or die from it.

Just because you don’t think you can convince GOP to vote with you doesn’t mean you don’t try. Not trying is giving up. I appreciate that he did this speech to make the vote happen during the day. There is still something about him I don’t like. He’s too slick. Push come to shove & he’ll fold.

Maybe. Maybe not. The speech was “performative” at the very least. Words matter but so does action. Jeffries represents old guard democrats of the last 30-40 years. It would have been better if he had worked harder to convince more of the holdouts to vote no.

MAGA is watching FOX. And the full video wasn’t shown where he identified himself. My MAGA sister, her fiancé, my 2 other sisters, a brother-in-law, & my Mom. All only watch FOX for their news source. They believe every word they hear on this network.

Tim Kaine in particular is a surprise to me. He was Hillary’s running mate in 2016.
