i volunteer a LOT. and often end up organizing others. the WORST is when someone volunteers and then flakes. if more than one person flakes, I end up doing 3+ jobs. it makes me want to cry. but NEVER give up!

My husband said that if the house would be tidier, he would have no problem with me not working but he knows that wouldn't be the case. I told him "Yeah, I wouldn't hire me to be a housekeeper either." LOL

But yeah, he didn't think I wouldn't last long on the boredom front either.
