What about mentions of brand name corporate products? May I write 'Coca-Cola' or do I need to write 'cola'? May I write a character is using a Winchester 30-30, or do I need to write it as a 30-30 lever gun (made by multiple manufacturers)?

If the -us suffix is Latin, then the plural would be Krampi.

I've had a character come alive in my head and tell me no, the plot needs to go HERE, not THERE. These are temporary thoughforms you create. And though they feed on your energy to exist, they still have life of their own. Sweet dreams, ha ha! 😜

They're talking about my book, and it's not even published yet! ;-P

700 words into the WIP today. This chapter is coming along nicely. I have the beginning, the end, and now I'm filling in the middle.

Only 400 words yesterday, in starting a new chapter. Struggling a bit with the journey. Typical me: I know how it ends but not how to get there.

Thanks for the reminder. :) My Mac auto saves also to an external drive, but in addition I save to a small flash drive. Made a new chapter, 3000ish words this week. Wouldn't want to lose that. :)

1300 words already today. Thanks to Gareth Powell for advice to treat each chapter as a short story. That works for me. :)

He spelled it "sematary", and my mind copied the second 'a' because that's how it sounds.

Wrote 1700 words in a new chapter for the WIP yesterday. Chapter's not finished, maybe 2/3 done? Don't wish me luck (okay do so if you wish), wish me inspiration please. I need to figure out how to exorcise an entire cemetery. (damn that Steve King, I keep writing "cemetary" and it's all his fault.)

Managed to spit out 1200 words and at my age no less. Now I need an effin nap, lol.

Figured it out: the next chapter will be a ghost story, involving a cat. Whew. Thought I was stuck. Again.

I'm currently out of ideas for the next chapter. The outline is done but the whole thing is too short. I'm F-Rated: FrustRated.
