I need to be careful what I write in future. My last novel included heavy betting on war and AI deciding who lives and who dies. Add to that the 2018 novel with the pandemic and destroying Notre Dame, and lots of cybercrime. I have been accused of witchcraft.

Nope. Withdrew months ago from a trip I’d be doing in a couple of weeks time. No regrets. I have two friends going over next week for different work reasons and I’m concerned. Sure they’ll be fine but I wouldn’t risk it.
