Reflecting on the legacy of Rev Jackson yesterday on the BBC, I shared my view that his greatest legacy is a coalition building powered by a moral vision of mutual recognition, not policy negotiations. This builds bridges between us and gives us the courage to cross them.

Iโve spent a decade researching systemic racism, and I am struck with awe by the power of Black cultural resilience.
This is why #WayOuttaNoWay includes Spirit Stays Free: a collection of conversations with Black artists and activists. I hope they inspire you as they do me!

For generations, Juneteenth has been an occasion to celebrate African American freedom and a poignant reminder that it continues to be fought for, claimed and defended.
As part of this ongoing pursuit of justice, Iโm proud to share my latest project, #WayOuttaNoWay
My book โMetaracismโ offers a way for us to see & understand the complexity, interconnections, & compounding effects produced by systemic racism. Once we know how it works, we can better see and target its weaknesses.
