Opening this spring. Let’s go! It is AK’s largest planetarium screen at 11 meters. The program “Listening to Alaska” was a stunning production of the research UAF does. I can’t wait to see how they develop this for the public. I’m excited and I don’t even want to think about space. This is cool!

I had the honor of attending the ribbon cutting for the Walt and Marita Babula Planetarium at UA Museum, coolest thing to be built in Fairbanks in decades. I fear space, but the way they tied space to geo science and AK had me in tears and excited to support science.

Yeah it was unofficial student name, one of those legends that I don’t think anyone ever really pulled off. Lingering no rules 90’s. Spring Fest now is full of games and sustainable, inclusive activities. I’m always amazed at the variety of events that are hosted, especially the last few years.

UAF Spring Fest used to be called “Case Day” where you drink one beer every hour for 24 hrs. Pretty sure I only got 2 hours in 😆 if that. And I still

My brother did one of the ancestry DNA kits, it has now kicked up a full on identity crisis. I thought we were Slovak and Dutch. Nope. It shows Northwest Germany, Norway, Sweden and Sardinia (?). So confused.

I told him we found him abandoned in a grocery cart. Now I’m in trouble with Dad. 😆

I followed up with her on an item yesterday and she responded! Maybe she’s just having a good week? Meds are working? I so get that… 😅
