Think New Mexico is delighted to welcome Alma McKown as our Fall 2025 Leadership Intern!

49 of New Mexico's 89 school districts have made financial literacy a high school graduation requirement, reaching over 150,000 public school students in the state! Of the 49, 37 of those districts require completion of a year-long financial literacy course, while 12 require at least a semester.

29 states have made financial literacy a graduation requirement, reaching 76% of U.S. public high school students. New Mexico students deserve guaranteed access to financial literacy education, too!

New Mexico should join this growing movement!
