Lucky sharks don't go there much
02.11.2025 03:39 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Now we've finally got some lovely warm calm Spring days here some garden pics
02.11.2025 03:35 — 👍 4 🔁 1 💬 2 📌 0This is a pretty little title corner of our Huon Valley Tasmania property. I think of it as the Nordic room. It's not part of our actual house, it's right in the garden. Husband has used it as his office. It has a beautiful picture window looking into the garden.
02.11.2025 03:34 — 👍 4 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0We need electricians inside soon. I won't ask them to mask, they'll likely remove them when out of view. I'll open all windows and have our one air purifier going and we'll go out while they're here.
01.11.2025 12:41 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0spooked when she told me about this. )bit I don't believe in the supernatural). Also the mother developed either dementia or mental illness, disappeared one night and was found at the bottom of a nearby cliff!! We lived in that house for 23 years.
👻
Interesting fact about me. Our last home that we owned, well the bank owned, was build by a mother and daughter who were practicing Spiritualist. Our elderly neighbour said they had meeting in the lounge room around the fire. Spiritualists believed they could commune with the dead. I was a bit..

01.11.2025 12:04 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If you're wondering where heaven is. It's here on Earth. Please look after this place and it's Life. The trees and birds and bees and humans. Find the beauty and enjoy it while you can 😊
01.11.2025 07:28 — 👍 46 🔁 4 💬 3 📌 1No not ok but not an awful lot different to a decade ago either
01.11.2025 04:18 — 👍 0 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0Nice to see you Ian!
01.11.2025 04:13 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I disagree. It's not "a mess" everywhere here in Australia at all
01.11.2025 00:45 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Are you American or in America? Is that where you're talking about?
31.10.2025 12:13 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I'm curious how you found this out. I'd love to know what lists I'm on.
31.10.2025 11:21 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Apparently Influenza and RSV vaxes are not on the schedule. They're optional.
31.10.2025 06:15 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I'll try gentle exercises and a slow walk. Old pelvic fractures have affected my gait and caused osteo arthritis. I was also born with a weird hereditary foot disorder that hurts.
Chronic pain life can suck but gentle focus on caring for my needs helps. No mountain climbing for me!
Been doing "radical rest" since Wed afternoon to recover from latest baby visit trip to Victoria. My pain has been at 8/10. Hard to walk. Miserable. I'm grateful my husband is off work atm so can do support of our son and me. I've resting in bed, slept lots, finally able to shower today. Tomorrow..
31.10.2025 06:13 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I don't know the details. They said they added up to nearly $200, probably included GP fee, Victoria
31.10.2025 04:46 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This year I had TDaP as we had a grandbaby arrive 😊
31.10.2025 04:45 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Does anyone read the articles? I mean I've read hundreds of journal articles but noone I used to send them to read them!
31.10.2025 01:17 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0💉 I love vaccines 💕
Having another COVID Vax (otherwise known as the clot shot) in a few weeks. 8 months since my last one.
Early next year I'm having RSV vax then during the year fluvax, COVID Vax, Shingles Vax.
2027 I'll have pneumonia Vax, COVID Vax X2, fluvax.
Am I missing any?
💉
Yes. He's was trying to be empathic, he's a nice man. People just don't understand it's a rational not emotional decision to do what we can to avoid infections within the limits we've personally set.
30.10.2025 10:28 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0They were trying to be empathic. I appreciate that he was attempting empathy rather than pity like I get from some people. Some even passive aggressive. Covid wasn't even a worry for me. We've got our processes for travelling down pat and at least covid is pretty low right now here
30.10.2025 10:26 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Was telling someone how our trip to see son&baby was stressful because of my severe pain, other son's health & my sibs were clearing out our deceased parents home in another state. Sis sent me about 60 messages. It was a lot. Person replied "and you've also got your anxiety about the covid thing"
30.10.2025 04:16 — 👍 8 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0For godsake just let people eat. Eating is a basic human right! People in America feed your friends, neighbors, strangers. Don't let them go hungry whatever the reasons or their faults.
30.10.2025 02:47 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0What about poor people who need a car desperately but can only afford a cheap second hand one?
30.10.2025 02:46 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Fair enough. I don't just people only on that one thing. There are so many many things we can just others on.
30.10.2025 02:26 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0We have the most adorable Tasmanian painters here. We call them "the elves". Working hard, enjoying their breaks in our beautiful garden, friendly, sweet, respectful of our covid careful way of living, friends really. Had them here before 😊
30.10.2025 02:20 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Went to Vic for a week and came back to beautiful gorgeous quaint Tasmania (I’m not biased) and literally sighed with relief. Fresh air, quiet, slow, friendly. Even the incessant wind has stopped. Just perfect !
29.10.2025 11:16 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0So 99.9 percent of people? I’m as Covid aware and careful as almost anyone but I’ve lived with chronic illness and disability for 40 years so maybe that made me aware of people’s fallibility for a long time. I would be close to noone except one son if I required them to be like me about Covid.
